CRANSTON, R.I. (WJAR) — A new CAVA opened its doors in Cranston on Friday.

The new location is located at 2 Chapel View Boulevard.

The Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant chain will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., officials said.

“Our mission is to bring heart, health, and humanity to food, and everything we do at CAVA is grounded in that spirit of generosity, to our guests, our team members, and our community,” said Ron Shuler, Regional Director. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to be in East Liberty and continue to grow our presence in the Cranston area.”

Officials said every CAVA restaurant offers free meals to neighbors and accepts donations for a local cause.

For its location in Cranston, it raised money for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.

According to CAVA officials, the Cranston location will employ around 25 to 40 people.
