Jewish organizations are calling on New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani to cut ties with Youtube toddler sensation Ms. Rachel, after she liked an anti-semitic comment made on one of her posts.

Ms. Rachel, legally named Rachel Griffin Accurso, posted a screenshot from her Notes App which read: “Free Palestine, Free Sudan, Free Congo, Free Iran.” A user commented under Accurso’s post: “Free America from Jews,” prompting a like from Ms. Rachel; although she claims it was an accident.

Another user had reached out to Ms. Rachel in direct messages, pointing out the like. Ms. Rachel said she had meant to “hide” the comment.

“I would never agree with an antisemitic thing like the comment. We have Jewish family, a lot of my friends are Jewish. I delete antisemitic comments,” Ms. Rachel said in a video.

“I want to say that it’s OK to be human and it’s OK to make mistakes and I’m old, so I am not as good with touching things online, I guess. I have liked things by accident before,” she continued.

However, another user made a comment in reference to the drama over the liked comment, claiming that the Jews were behind it.

“Spoiler alert: They left the comment themselves,” a commenter wrote.

Accurso replied writing, “ooooooooooohhhhh.”

Ms. Rachel’s latest social media debacle led to a new round of criticism from StopAntisemitism. The organization named Ms. Rachel as a finalist for its “Antisemite of the Year” in 2025.

“Ms. Rachel doesn’t answer the criticism, she cries and plays the victim. She ignores Jewish concerns, Jewish constituents, and blows off antisemitism for a publicity stunt,” Liora Rez, founder and executive director of StopAntisemitism, told the New York Post.

“Pushing one-sided political narratives, and then calls accountability ‘bullying.’ That’s not leadership. That’s exactly why she shouldn’t be anywhere near a mayor’s office,” Rez continued.

Ms. Rachel previously caught flack for promoting statistics and photos deemed by StopAntisemitism as pro-Hamas propaganda. The organization also noted the hypocrisy of Ms. Rachel for bringing awareness to the deaths and injuries of Palestinian children but not the deaths of Israeli children.
