WASHINGTON (TNND) — Deputy director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Madison Sheahan is resigning from her position to run for Congress in Ohio.

On her campaign website, Sheahan discusses her leadership experience at ICE.

“Under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump, Sheahan was entrusted with helping guide ICE through a period of historic transformation,” her website reads.

Sheahan said that under her tenure, she managed to hire 12,000 new law enforcement officers in just 180 days.

Sheahan also touted that over 2.5 million illegal migrants left under her leadership at ICE.

She is running for Ohio’s 9th Congressional District and has a slogan: “No Excuses. Let’s Get It Done.”

She would be running for office against Democratic Ohio Rep. Marcy Kaptur.

“I’m Madison Sheahan,” her campaign team X page reads.

“I’m a Trump conservative running for Congress to protect American jobs, American paychecks, and American values.”

She said in the video attached that she is ready to serve the U.S. in Congress.

“In Congress, hypocrisy, excuses and failure can earn you a lifetime job,” she said. “But on my family farm, that would put us out of business,” she said in the video.
