New Bedford Public Schools receive 'record number' of college acceptances

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WJAR) — New Bedford Public Schools said that the class of 2026 was receiving "record numbers" of college acceptances, scholarships, and financial-aid offers.
The school district said the schools students were being accepted to included the Ivy League, top public and private universities, and the Massachusetts state system.
"New Bedford High School is set for one of its strongest college-going years yet," the district said.
