'Tony the Tiger' sentenced to 4 years for Taco Bell rock robbery
OCALA, Fla. (WKRC) — A man was sentenced to four years in prison for an armed robbery at a Taco Bell, authorities said.

Kewarren Anderson, 40, pleaded no contest to armed robbery in connection with the incident last year, when he entered the restaurant through a drive-thru window armed with a large rock and demanded money, Law&Crime reported.
Prosecutors said Anderson, who is known as “Tony the Tiger,” chased employees around the parking lot before fleeing on foot without obtaining any cash.
Police used a K-9 unit to track Anderson to a nearby dumpster, where he was found and arrested. Taco Bell employees later identified him as the suspect. Anderson told investigators he was homeless, needed money and admitted he was at the restaurant with the rock, according to Law&Crime.
Anderson was adjudicated guilty and received credit for nearly 200 days already served. While jailed, he also pleaded no contest to battery by a person in a detention facility following an altercation with a corrections officer. That sentence will run concurrently.
