New video obtained exclusively by The News Movement shows what appears to be Alex Pretti kicking and spitting on a federal agent's car in an encounter 11 days before he was fatally shot on Jan. 13. The News Movement, who exclusively captured the footage, said the video was analyzed by the BBC, which confirmed using facial recognition technology to 97% degree of accuracy.

Pretti, 37, was captured in a bystander’s video in a crowd, cursing out immigration agents as an unmarked group of vehicles arrived at a street corner in Southern Minneapolis

A spokesperson for Pretti’s family and the family’s attorney have verified that the man captured in the video is Alex Pretti.

Alex Pretti, the intensive care nurse killed by federal agents last weekend, was swarmed and tackled by officers in another encounter 11 days earlier, according to footage obtained by the Minnesota Star Tribune.

Pretti flipped the middle fingers of both hands toward an SUV carrying federal officers in tactical gear. One agent jumped out of the back passenger seat and charged at Pretti, grabbing him by the jacket and tackling him, according to the footage.
