A magistrate judge reportedly ruled against the Department of Justice's (DOJ) first attempt to charge Don Lemon in connection with his appearance alongside anti-immigration enforcement protesters at a Minnesota church.

Citing an unnamed source, CNN on Thursday reported that Attorney General Pam Bondi "is enraged at the magistrate judge’s decision."

The news comes just days after Lemon, a former CNN host who now makes content independently, joined protesters as they entered the Cities Church in St. Paul, where a local official with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement serves as a pastor.

In a series of social media posts, Bondi said a prominent civil rights attorney and at least one other person involved in the protest, were arrested.

“Listen loud and clear: WE DO NOT TOLERATE ATTACKS ON PLACES OF WORSHIP," Bondi wrote on X.
