Candace Owens drops alleged audio of Erika Kirk five days after husband's assassination
WASHINGTON (TNND) — Podcaster Candace Owens dropped alleged audio on her show of Erika Kirk addressing Turning Point USA just five days after her husband, Charlie Kirk’s death.
During her show, Owens implied that the audio was “off putting” since Erika is seen laughing on the zoom call before talking to employees of Turning Point USA.
"It is the general tone that is off-putting, it is the laughter that is off-putting, we are not even two weeks after watching your husband be assassinated," she said after playing the audio.
Owens has said on her show multiple times that she doesn’t believe the narrative that Charlie Kirk was killed by Tyler Robinson, 22. Robinson was arrested and charged with aggravated murder.
In previous episodes of her show, Owens has said she thinks Robinson wasn’t the killer, but he may have been involved. She said she speculates Kirk was taken down in a military operation, implied Israel could have been behind his death and said he was betrayed by people close to him.
Kirk was killed on Sep. 10, 2025 and the alleged zoom call happened on Sep. 16. Owens said that she has Turning Point USA insiders that gave her the audio.
In the leaked zoom call, Erika said she didn’t want anyone to think their job is in jeopardy.
“I don’t want anyone to think their jobs in jeopardy because you’re family,” she said. “If you choose to leave, that’s different.”
In a previous episode of her show, Owens said that different people were fired from Turning Point USA following Charlie Kirk's death, but weren’t given a reason.
Earlier this month, she played alleged audio of an employee who recorded themselves being fired.
In a post on X, she said that Turning Point employees are being questioned about their allegiance to Erika Kirk, who took over as CEO after her husband died.
"What is especially incredible is that NONE of my actual sources were terminated but these people were," she said.
Turning Point USA has not responded to a request for comment as of the time this post was published.
