One of the biggest self-proclaimed Patriots fans in East Providence is getting ready for the game by doing what he does best, creating posters for the team.

Cameron Carreiro has become well known locally for his passion for the Patriots and the dedication he puts into designing handmade posters for players and coaches.

Carreiro said it feels surreal knowing the players take the posters home and appreciate the work, adding that seeing their reactions and support means a lot to him.

For the past three years, Cameron has designed posters for individual Patriots players. Over the last year, his artwork has gained traction on social media, helping him connect with players’ families.

He said he often reaches out to the families directly and uses what he learns as inspiration for each design.

"I make the posters as a gift to welcome them to the city, I do it for the free agents, the rookies, and I just did one for Mike Vrabel and now I'm working on one for Robert Kraft," said Carreiro.

With the team sendoff rally happening on Sunday, he has something special planned.

He said he is creating a poster that features the entire team and that it will be dedicated to them as a group.

After making 24 posters over the last three years, Carreiro said he does not have a favorite and feels he improves with every new piece.

"We all we got we all we need and we need to send this team to Santa Clara the right way," said Carreiro.
