Barrington's Newport Creamery location to permanently close this weekend

BARRINGTON, R.I. (WJAR) — A staple of the community for decades, the Barrington Newport Creamery location is set to serve its final Awful Awfuls this weekend.
Officials with the parent company of Newport Creamery confirmed with NBC 10 that the location will officially close Sunday.
This comes less than a month after the Newport Creamery at Cranston's Garden City Center closed.
Newport Creamery officials tried to find another location in Barrington but decided to close up shop instead.
Workers at the Barrington Newport Creamery have the option to work at the restaurant's Fall River and Seekonk locations.
