The 2026 Oscar nominations are here! 'Sinners' breaks records, a new category, and more!

The nominees for Hollywood’s biggest night, the 98th annual Oscars, are here!

Danielle Brooks and Lewis Pullman announced the nominees for the best films from 2025Thursday morning from Los Angeles.

“Sinners” made history with a record 16 nominations, beating out the previous three-way tie of 14 nominations, held by “All About Eve," “Titanic” and “La La Land."

“One Battle After Another” followed closely behind with 13 nominations, while “Marty Supreme” and “Frankenstein each earned nine, and “Bugonia” and “Hamnet" each scored eight noms.

We were also treated to nominations in a new category this year, Best Casting, which will be voted on by the Casting Directors Branch of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.

Conan O’Brien will return as host of the ceremony when it airs March 15 live on ABC.
