Tucked in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Mount Airy, North Carolina, is the hometown of Andy Griffith and the inspiration for the fictional town of Mayberry. While in Mount Airy, fans of the classic sitcom can visit the iconic courthouse, just like the one Sheriff Andy Taylor presided over on television.
