Trump started his speech 1 hour and 24 minutes late.

He spoke for 56 minutes about his support of ethanol, a hot topic in Iowa, inflation and touted his accomplishments from his first year of his second term in office.

Iowa Democrats have criticized the presidential visit to Iowa, saying his tariff and economic policies have been hurting Iowa's ag industry.

The Trump Administration is dealing with a crisis in Minnesota with the second deadly shooting of an American citizen by federal immigration officers this month.

Protests in Minnesota and around the country continue, including some in Iowa over the weekend.
