President Donald Trump talks ethanol, inflation and his accomplishments in Iowa

CLIVE, Iowa — President Donald Trump is travelled to Iowa Tuesday, visiting an Urbandale restaurant before speaking in front of a crowd in Clive.
This marks the first trip the president made to the Hawkeye State since last July, when he spoke at the Iowa State Fairgrounds to kick off America 250 celebrations.

Trump started his speech 1 hour and 24 minutes late.
He spoke for 56 minutes about his support of ethanol, a hot topic in Iowa, inflation and touted his accomplishments from his first year of his second term in office.
Iowa Democrats have criticized the presidential visit to Iowa, saying his tariff and economic policies have been hurting Iowa's ag industry.
The Trump Administration is dealing with a crisis in Minnesota with the second deadly shooting of an American citizen by federal immigration officers this month.
Protests in Minnesota and around the country continue, including some in Iowa over the weekend.
