FBI Director Kash Patel on Monday night announced that another person was arrested for allegedly being involved in stealing equipment from a federal vehicle.

“Another arrest from the @FBI and partners in connection to the January 14 incident in Minneapolis - where rioters destroyed an FBI vehicle and stole equipment,” Patel wrote on X.

He said that this was the second arrest in two days.

“Our teams continue to pursue every last person responsible for not only this incident but those who target law enforcement with threats, impede their lawful operations, and more around the country,” his post continued.

The FBI said that on Jan. 14, multiple government vehicles were broken into and vandalized in Minnesota.

The agency said that while agents were responding to an assault on an officer, property was stolen from inside the vehicles, according to Fox News.

Patel said in the X post that the alleged individual involved in this reportedly used stolen ID information to threaten an FBI agent.

“This evening, the FBI arrested another individual who allegedly used some of the stolen ID information to threaten an FBI agent and their family - including their children,” he said.

He concluded by thanking agents for the work that they do.
