Attorney General Pam Bondi said Wednesday that 16 rioters in Minnesota have been arrested for allegedly assaulting federal law enforcement.

“I am on the ground in Minneapolis today,” Bondi wrote on the social media platform, X.

“Federal agents have arrested 16 Minnesota rioters for allegedly assaulting federal law enforcement — people who have been resisting and impeding our federal law enforcement agents.”

She said that she expects more arrests to take place.

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: NOTHING will stop President Trump and this Department of Justice from enforcing the law,” her post concluded.

In another post, she listed the names of the individuals arrested and said they were arrested under 18 U.S. Code 111.

Tensions have been arising in Minnesota following the deaths of two demonstrators protesting against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) being in the state for immigration crackdown.

Anti-ICE protests erupted around Minnesota, with some agents being assaulted.

Border Czar Tom Homan went to Minnesota earlier this week to talk to Democratic Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. Trump said he also spoke with the governor and the mayor.

It was reported Tuesday that the president’s plan is to scale back and eventually pull out of Minnesota.
