Fire damages exterior of Easton home on Howard Street

(WJAR) — A fire on Sunday morning damaged the exterior of a home in Easton.
The Easton Fire Department responded to a home on Howard Street for the fire.
Crews say the fire on the exterior was quickly making its way to the home’s interior.
Responding firefighters were able to extinguish the fire before it significantly damaged the interior.
In an image shared by the department, a portion of the first floor is shown with significant damage. Some walls are charred black.
About 10 surrounding municipalities sent aid to the fire response.
