(WJAR) — Coalition to End homelessness will hold its point-in-time count.
The Rhode Island Coalition to End homelessness will hold its point-in-time count.
The count attempts to record the number of people.
Each year, the organization counts individual who are considered unhoused.
The organization takes certain steps, like comparison of personal information, to avoid double counts.
Last year in January the coalition counted 2,373 people.
Of those 2,373, 866 were in families , 116 were young adults, and 125 were veterans.
