Car with children inside stolen in Pawtucket

A car with children inside was stolen in Pawtucket Tuesday night.

Police said the car on Smithfield Avenue was one of three stolen in nearby cities.

Officers said the suspects were not aware there were children inside of the vehicle.

Police said almost immediately after driving away the suspects returned to drop off the children before fleeing again.

According to police, the children were not harmed and have been reunited with their family.

As of Wednesday morning, police said the vehicle hasn't been found.

Plus, no suspect is in custody.
