1 injured after stabbing in New Bedford

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WJAR) — New Bedford police said a person was taken to a hospital after a stabbing on Wednesday night.
According to police, they responded to Hathaway Street for a report of a stabbing.
One person was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
New Bedford police said a person was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
"This incident appears to be domestic-related and isolated to the individuals involved," a police spokesperson said.
