TLC wasn’t kidding when they named their reality show “Unexpected.”

The trailer for the show’s seventh season was just released and it is, well, unexpected.

We meet several of the teens navigating pregnancy at a young age, including Bella, who is 15, and the father of her baby, 13-year-old Hunter.

You read that right. THIRTEEN.

Hunter is so young his family is worried he might not pass 8th grade, which makes Bella exclaim, “I don’t want to be in 10th grade dating an 8th grader! We’ve got a toddler!”

Then there’s Isabella and Bryce, who are struggling to get along, so much so that when Bryce says, “We’re fixing to have a baby,” Isabella replies, “We’re not fixing to do nothing, it’s me pushing out a baby.”

We also meet Mia and Jesse, both 16-years-old, and Mia’s dad makes no bones about the fact he doesn’t care for the teenage boy who got his daughter pregnant.

Amya and Jose are also both 16, and while being young is enough of an issue, Amya is also struggling with being overweight and the potential complications that can come with that.

The relationships between the teen parents are complicated, and so are the interactions between the soon-to-be grandparents.

There are also health concerns, like Bella being told she’ll need a C-section for a safe delivery, and one of the other girls “hemorrhaging” according to her mom.

TLC sums it up with their description, noting, the show follows, “eight teens who are navigating pregnancy, parenthood, and the realities that come far sooner than expected. The series captures the emotional highs and lows, financial pressures, and evolving family dynamics, all while these young soon-to-be parents work to figure out their new normal amid the chaos unfolding around them.”

“Unexpected" premieres February 16 on TLC.
