Taylor Swift makes history as youngest woman inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame
Taylor Swift can mark another record-breaking achievement off her list!At 36-years-old, Swift has become the youngest woman to be bestowed with the honor.

“CBS Mornings” exclusively revealed the star-studded roster of the 2026 Songwriters Hall of Fame inductees. The Songwriters Hall of Fame celebrates artists whose work leaves a lasting mark on music history.
The 2026 Songwriters Hall of Fame inductees are:

Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley
Christopher “Tricky” Stewart

Alanis Morissette
Terry Britten and Graham Lyle

Kenny Loggins
Walter Afanasieff

Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley came up together in 1973 to form KISS.
Christopher “Tricky” Stewart co-wrote and co-produced Beyonce’s megahit “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).” Prior to that his big break came in 2007 with what he calls the “single most important song” he’s ever written, Rihanna’s “Umbrella.”
Alanis Morisette reset the culture with her 1995 album “Jagged Little Pill” which featured her hit “You Oughta Know.”
Terry Britten and Graham Lyle wrote “What’s Love Got To Do With It” and “We Don’t Need Another Hero” for Tina Turner, bringing her from a soul singer to a superstar.
Kenny Loggins is best known for performing with Jim Messina in the 70s before becoming the king of soundtracks with songs in “Caddyshack,” “Footloose” and “Top Gun.”
Walter Afanasieff co-wrote and co-produced Mariah Carey’s “Hero” and “All I Want For Christmas is You.”

Taylor Swift, well, we all know why she’s getting this accolade. She’s landed 69 songs in the Top 10. Thirteen of those have hit No. 1 on the Billboard chart.
