Shakira is officially a Guinness World Record holder
Shakira may be known for singing and dancing, but now she can add a new title to her impressive resume: Guinness World Record holder.

The “Hips Don’t Lie” singer set the record for the highest-grossing tour by a Hispanic artist of all time, according to Billboard. Her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,” or “Women Don’t Cry Anymore,” world tour kicked off in February 2025 and has continued with select dates in 2026. During that time, she’s sold 3.3 million tickets across 86 reported shows, grossing 421.6 million.

“Breaking this record is a new milestone for me, considering that there are so many great artists who historically have toured in Latin America & Spain. After a 30-year career, that took so much effort and met so many challenges, to be living this amazing moment is unbelievable. I can only be grateful for the loyalty and passion of my fans, who give meaning to everything I do, and without them, none of this would be happening. Without a doubt, they are the best fans in the world,” Shakira said of her accomplishment.

Luis Miguel was the previous record holder, having sold 2.9 million tickets and grossing $409.5 million. Prior to Miguel, Bad Bunny’s “World’s Hottest Tour” was the highest grossing at $314.1 million with 1.9 million tickets sold. Shakira officially beat those numbers on December 11, 2025, when she surpassed $410 million in revenue. She has nine more tour dates scheduled in 2026.
