Johnny Knoxville says he absolutely can't do THIS in 'Jackass 5' after past brain injury
This may come as a shock, but Johnny Knoxville knows his limits, and some risks just aren’t worth it anymore.
After suffering a past brain hemorrhage, the "Jackass" star can no longer be hit over the head during stunts.

The 54-year-old sustained serious head trauma in 2022 after being flipped over by a bull while performing a stunt.
The incident left Knoxville with a concussion, a broken wrist, a broken rib, and he is now "over [his] limit for concussions.”

Speaking on the "Books That Changed My Life" podcast about the upcoming fifth “Jackass" movie, Knoxville admitted:
I can’t do anything where I can get another concussion. [I’m] way over my limit for concussions.
He continued, "But I don’t care about anything else. I just can’t get hit in the head anymore, but a lot of other guys can.”
Knoxville further explained that “Jackass" movies are "fun" for him but, "[They are] pure hell for the cast.”

The new “Fear Factor” host previously revealed how a stunt nearly caused permanent damage below the belt and left him needing a catheter for more than three years.
He told Variety, "I broke my gym dog a number of years ago. That’s been well documented. So much has been said about so little."

"The doctor said a couple centimeters down and it would’ve been out of commission,” Knoxville confessed.
He then quipped that the birth of his kids proves everything is in "working order" now.

As for his infamous bull injury, Knoxville mentioned in the past, "My family doesn’t like me doing this type of thing. This is most wicked bull hit I’ve ever taken."
