Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s 'biggest fight' landed one of the stars in the hospital!
Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are remembering the wildest fight they’ve ever had over the last four decades.

The longtime besties paid a visit to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” where they got into an altercation that involved acorns???
“It was our biggest fight,” Affleck said.

The incident took place on set of their 1992 film, “School Ties,” when they “were just 19, 20-years-old, and there were a bunch of us. Brendan Fraser was in the movie, Cole Hauser was in the movie, Chris O’Donnell. And in between takes we were just bored, and we were walking across this school where we were shooting, and there were acorns, and so we just started whipping them at each other."
To which Affleck quipped, "Because when you're 19, that seems like a good idea."
“[Affleck] threw one at Cole, and Cole moved, and I turned, and it literally hit me in the eye,” Damon remembers.

Damon was obviously concerned about his injured eye, but Affleck was more worried about how this would impact his career and being in the film.
"Mind you, I had like three lines in the movie. And while I cared about Matt having vision, my first thought was, ‘I[‘m gonna] be fired for this.'"

Damon’s injury was serious enough that he had to wear an eyepatch for a few days while he was recovering.
