Comedian and actor Russell Brand is free on bail after making a virtual court appearance for two new sexual assault charges.

A Butler Hospital patientaccused of assaulting hospital staff members and a police officer appeared in court on Tuesday for his arraignment.

The actor is facing new legal trouble following a late-night incident where he was taken into custody.
