The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said authorities are searching for two men they described as criminal illegal immigrants -- as well as sexual predators.

DHS identified the suspects as Kongmeng Vang and Lue Moua. The agency said the men, who are both from Laos, are at large in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Vang is wanted for sexual assault, gang activity, and assault, according to DHS, which added that an immigration judge ordered him a final order of removal in 2016.

Moua is wanted for sexual assault of a minor, rape, kidnapping, and domestic violence, DHS said, with an immigration judge issuing him a final removal order in 2012.

DHS urged the public to report share information that could lead to the arrest of Vang and Moua.

“These two violent illegal alien sexual offenders are at large in St. Paul. We are asking the public to provide any information leading to the arrests of these two heinous sexual predators," Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a news release.
“These monsters are the exact type of criminal illegal aliens ICE is targeting in Minnesota. If you come to our country illegally and break our laws, we will find you, we will arrest you, and you will never return," she added.

In the release, McLaughlin also said DHS continues to call on Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey "to stop releasing criminal illegal aliens from Minnesota’s jails to re-perpetuate their crimes."

McLaughlin said Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has more than 1,360 arrest detainers for the criminal illegal migrants in their custody.

"It is common sense. Criminal illegal aliens should not be released back onto our streets to terrorize more innocent Americans," she said.

Sightings should be reported to the ICE tip line at 1-866-DHS-2-ICE or by visiting ice.gov.

The news comes just a few days after the Department of Justice (DOJ) reportedly launched an investigation into Walz and Frey in response to allegations that they obstructed federal law enforcement operations across the state.

Citing two sources familiar with the case, Fox News broke the story on Friday night.

"Sources said the investigation is in early stages, and it is unclear if it will result in any criminal charges," the media outlet noted.

Walz reacted to the new development on social media, as he said President Donald Trump and his administration are "weaponizing the justice system."

"Weaponizing the justice system against your opponents is an authoritarian tactic," Walz wrote on X.
"The only person not being investigated for the shooting of Renee Good is the federal agent who shot her," he added.

Frey also shared his thoughts about the investigation.

"This is an obvious attempt to intimidate me for standing up for Minneapolis, local law enforcement, and residents against the chaos and danger this Administration has brought to our city. I will not be intimidated. My focus remains where it’s always been: keeping our city safe," Frey wrote on X.
"America depends on leaders that use integrity and the rule of law as the guideposts for governance. Neither our city nor our country will succumb to this fear. We stand rock solid," he added.

The probe comes in the wake of the deadly shooting involving Good and an ICE agent.

The agent, who has been identified as Jonathan Ross, shot and killed Good after she allegedly tried to ram him and other officers with her SUV. Ross reportedly suffered internal bleeding when he was hit by her vehicle.

The incident has sparked protests and political debate amid an ongoing immigration crackdown in Minneapolis and St. Paul, which DHS has called its largest enforcement operation, resulting in more than 2,500 arrests.

Walz and Frey, who are both Democrats, voiced their approval of protests following Good's death.
