There are over 21,000 power outages reported across western North Carolina, according to Ready NC's power outage map.
Henderson County is still experiencing the most power outages with over 14,000 outages. Transylvania follows behind that with 3,243 outages. Mitchell County is also experiencing a little over 800 outages.
Throughout the state, Ready NC reports over 31,000 outages as of 9:35 p.m.

There are over 24,000 power outages reported across western North Carolina, according to Ready NC's power outage map.
Henderson County is currently experiencing more than 15,000 outages. Transylvania County follow behind that with 4,843 outages. Buncombe County is also experiencing a little over 900 outages.
Throughout the state, Ready NC reports over 33,000 outages as of 8:27 p.m.

There are over 6,000 power outages reported across western North Carolina, according to Ready NC's power outage map.
Transylvania County is currently experiencing more than 7,000 outages. Buncombe and Macon counties follow behind that with 1,553 and 1,160 outages. Mitchell County is also experiencing a little over 800 outages.

Henderson County is currently experiencing more than 11,000 outages. Transylvania and Buncombe counties follow behind that with 9,845 and 1,596 outages. Macon County is experiencing a little over 1,000 outages.

Haywood, Macon and Jackson counties now have between 250 and 700 outages.

Transylvania County is currently experiencing more than 2,700 outages. Haywood County follows behind with more than 1,700 outages, per Ready NC.

Transylvania County is currently experiencing more than 2,400 outages. Haywood County follows close behind with more than 1,700 outages, per Ready NC.

(8 a.m.) – Nearly 3,000 power outages have been reported across western North Carolina.
Transylvania County is currently experiencing nearly 2,000 outages, with many of these concentrated in the Brevard area and Cedar Mountain, according to Duke Energy.
The power company also shows over 300 reported outages in Franklin and more than 400 in Waynesville. Buncombe County is experiencing more than 150 outages, mostly south of Asheville.

(7 a.m.) – A map provided by Ready NC shows over 1,000 power outages in western North Carolina, with a majority of these in Haywood and Macon counties.
Duke Energy also reports approximately 1,000 power outages among its customers as of 7 a.m. The power company's map shows that a large number of these outages are in Waynesville, Lake Junalaska and Canton. There are also several hundred reported outages in the Franklin area.
