For local bars, the success of the New England Patriots has been bringing in plenty of customers and creating a raucous atmosphere at kickoff.

At Moonshine Alley in Providence, fans packed to watch the game on the big screen, and they were happy to see their Patriots come away with the victory.

"It was Maye Day," said Sandeep Sodhi. "It was Maye Day for the New England Patriots."

One particular moment that sent the crowd into a frenzy was the one-handed touchdown grab by Kayshon Boutte, a stunning catch considering the snowy conditions at Gillette Stadium.

The team's success has also carried local businesses like Moonshine Alley along with it. General Manager Jeff Shabo said his bar has a unique appreciation for what that Pats Nation bump can do.

"This is our fourth year we're going on now, and the Patriots have not been in the playoffs since we opened," Shabo said. "We've had the Bruins, we've had the Celtics, we've had March Madness, but being able to have the Patriots actually in the playoffs and showcase them here at Moonshine Alley, it's a very fun experience, especially for the fans because they haven't had that in so long."

But despite the success, some Patriots fans are staying hungry and making sure to call out what they didn't see from their team tonight.

"Too many turnovers," said Brian Mildner.

As for their foe in the AFC Championship, there's plenty of confidence among fans as they take on the Denver Broncos and former Patriots quarterback Jarrett Stidham.

"We're on to Denver," Mildner said.

"Jarrett Stidham? Come on now," added Sodhi.
