Jay's Wine & Spirits in Fall River was broken into and burglarized New Year's Day by two teenagers—one of them facing charges after breaking into the same liquor shop less than two months prior.

"We're adding new cameras in the back, motion sensors in the back. Protecting the business," said Jay's store manager Kalpesh Patel.

On Thanksgiving, a 16 and 17-year-old were seen on surveillance video breaking through the back door of Jay's. They took an estimated $4,000 worth of alcohol and e-cigarettes.

"Cops came in, they searched the whole store, but by that time they left," said Patel.

Both teens were charged following the incident.

"Then, same problem again we got on New Year's Day," said Patel.

The Fall River Police Department investigated the second incident and found that it was the same 16-year-old suspect, this time with a 15-year-old.

The 15-year-old was taken into custody Tuesday.

There is a warrant out for the 16-year-old's arrest. They face charges of breaking and entering in the nighttime for a felony, larceny from a building and vandalizing property.

Patel said he still doesn't know how much of his merchandise will be recovered or reimbursed.
