Maddie Heimsch

Maddie Heimsch joined the Coastal ABC team as a multimedia journalist in January 2026.

Originally from Wisconsin, Maddie previously reported, anchored and produced at WISC-TV in Madison. She reported live from the 2024 Republican and Democratic National Conventions and covered the most expensive state Supreme Court race in U.S. history.

Maddie graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in journalism, advertising and media studies.

Outside the newsroom, Maddie enjoys running, doing crossword puzzles and visiting her friends and family back in the Midwest. New to the Ocean State, she’s compiling a growing list of food and sightseeing recommendations. She’s excited to see all Rhode Island has to offer!
